Brad Hoshaw is an award-winning singer-songwriter, residing in Northern California, best known for his soothing tenor voice and his contemplative and earnest storytelling. Dolly Parton once said "He can sing me to sleep anytime!". His style combines the haunting almost churchy feel of Jeff Buckley and the country character of Townes Van Zandt.

Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Brad Hoshaw received 5 Omaha Entertainment & Arts Awards and has shared the stage with performers such as Dwight Yoakam, Bright Eyes, Lucero, Pete Yorn, Nathaniel Rateliff, William Fitzsimmons, John Moreland, Will Hoge, Sam Outlaw, Charlie Parr, David Dondero, Mark Eitzel, Langhorn Slim, Roger Clyne, and William Elliott Whitmore. Brad also composed music for American Public Media's 'Marketplace with Kai Rysdall' as well as Omaha's Blue Barn Theatre production of "Grass So Tall, Sky So Black" and the Amazon Prime film "Black Luck". He often volunteered his time at Nebraska prisons, as part of the "Writer's Block" program, helping inmates channel their experiences into songs. He is also the founder of the Benson Songwriter Exchange, a community that continues to meet bi-weekly in Omaha to workshop songs and discuss craft.

In August 2019, Brad moved to Northern California. He is currently booking solo-acoustic shows and shopping his new album to record labels for a 2020 release.
